What is a digital certificate?
It is a digital document that allows the identification of individuals, self-employed workers, companies and various corporations on the Internet.
It contains our identification data which are authenticated by an official body.
The digital certificate allows the electronic signature of documents in order to guarantee the identity of the person.

The main advantage of the digital certificate is that it will save us time and money by allowing us to carry out administrative procedures via the Internet.
How to get the digital certificate?
From 1 July 2016, the procedure for obtaining the digital certificate has changed in compliance with the European regulation on electronic identification.
At Gestoría G1, we have an agreement for the issuance of digital certificates. This is an exclusive service for our customers, or for future customers who make arrangements with us.

What is a digital certificate?

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE?
The main advantage of the digital certificate is that it will save us time and money by allowing us to carry out administrative procedures via the Internet at anytime, and from anywhere.
HOW DOES A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE WORK?
In Digital Certificates, the message is encrypted with a private key and in order to read it we need a public key.
When we send a message, we encrypt it with the digital certificate and in this way the recipient is certain that the sender’s identity is genuine.
How do we handle it?
For the Digital Certificate to be a personal security feature, we must identify, record and certify its correct release with written security checks, with all information thoroughly verified, before it becomes operative.
This procedure is not exclusive to our offices in Alcudia and Palma de Mallorca.

2 years from the date of issue.
